I regularly present my research at national and international conferences and give talks and lectures for general audiences and specialist groups. I also teach university groups and run workshops for groups of all ages and backgrounds.

I am always very happy to come and talk, or run a workshop, on any topic. Please get in touch!

‘An Introduction to Anglo-Saxon Charters’ for the North-East Hampshire History and Archaeology Society, Sept 26th 2014.

For several years I worked as a seminar Tutor for the Institute for Medieval Studies and the School of History at The University of Leeds on Anglo-Saxon Culture. This course covered topics on history, archaeology, art history, manuscript studies, language and literature.

I also participated in a workshop day introducing students from a local college to studying Medieval Studies at university, for which I planned and ran an introductory seminar on place-names and the history of English and gave a guided tour of the Anglo-Saxon church at Ledsham.

Manuscripts Workshops
I organised and ran a day of workshops for undergraduates at The University of Leeds introducing them to working with a selection of the medieval manuscripts held in the university’s library.
